There are many band and artist that I enjoy listening to, and it’s hard to pick only a few to write about. Some of my favourite bands include the Kooks and the Beatles. I also really enjoy going to live performances around Canberra. I love to hear up and coming bands, as they often have new sounds that i have never heard much like before. One of my favourite local bands to go and watch is Drawing North, I have been to many of their performances, and enjoy them all

Drawing north put on a great show, they are energetic, fast and just fun to watch and listen to. I own one first album, my favourite track on this album is "say it loud." This is not a long song, but it packs a good beat and is catchy. The guitar work is good, the vocals are quite impressive as the singers range is great.

The Kooks are my favorite modern day band. Their music is catchy as hell, and just a pleasure to listen to. All of their songs are written so well, I believe that they are the best, Brit Rock/Indie Rock/Alternate Rock band on the planet. I own and love all of their albums, if I had to pick one song, I would pick matchbox. It has a Jazzy, sort of old school start, and then it changes to something you would never expect.

The Beatles are my favourite, older band. They are just so talented, and work so well. They changed the music seen so much, if it was not for them, music in general would be completely different. I have listened to almost every song on every album of theirs and to choose one song to be my favourite is just impossible. One song I do love is A Day in the Life, because it was a revolutionary song, and because of its content was banned on the radio. The song itself is a amazing song, very well written, like all of their work.
